Remarkable Recovery in a Covid Patient with Medical Intervention by SHSG

The pandemic has been challenging for many, but stories of hope and recovery keep us going. One such story is that of Mamta Rani, who found a haven at the SHSG Covid Care Center. Her journey from fear to relief is a testament to the dedication and compassion of the SHSG team.

Mamta Rani arrived at the SHSG Covid Care Center feeling extremely worried. She had been struggling with Covid-19 symptoms and was desperate for help. Mamta had severe symptoms, including high fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. She needed immediate medical attention to manage her condition. Upon arrival, the medical team at SHSG conducted a thorough examination. They found that Mamta’s oxygen levels were low and required urgent care. The team performed several tests, including a chest X-ray, blood tests, and an RT-PCR test for Covid-19. These investigations confirmed that she had a significant Covid-19 infection.

Mamta was prescribed antiviral medications, steroids to reduce inflammation, and antibiotics to prevent secondary infections. She received oxygen therapy to stabilize her breathing and was closely monitored by the medical staff. She was advised to stay hydrated, eat nutritious meals, and rest as much as possible to help her body fight the infection. The SHSG team planned regular check-ups to ensure Mamta’s condition was improving and to provide continuous support.

Mamta responded well to the treatment. Her symptoms began to improve within a few days, and her breathing became easier. After seven days of care at the SHSG Covid Care Center, Mamta tested negative for Covid-19. Her recovery was quick and remarkable. On the 26th of January, Mamta’s Covid-19 test came back negative. She was overjoyed and deeply grateful for the care she received.

This case highlights the importance of compassionate care and timely medical intervention. The SHSG team’s dedication made a significant difference in Mamta’s recovery. Mamta initially faced financial challenges. She had spent 45,000 rupees in just three days at a private hospital before coming to SHSG. Here, she found not only absolutely FREE but also effective care.

This story teaches us that with the right support, recovery is possible even in the toughest times. SHSG’s free services ensured that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, received the care they needed.

At SHSG, the patients also benefit from the soothing effects of live Kirtan from Shri Darbar Sahib and Harmandir Sahib, shown on TV screens. Historical films about how Guru Sahibs fought against diseases are also played, offering hope and inspiration to everyone.
